1968 Nuffield 4/25

1968 Nuffield 4/25 Diesel Tractor

This little tractor has been in a Nuffield collection the past few years after it was restored and rallied

These tractors have a very good spec with a 4 cylinder BMC diesel, 12 forward gears, three reverse, diff lock, 3 point linkage, 2 speed PTO etc
 
This little tractor starts up after 30 seconds of heat with a few seconds of cranking and runs well, starts well hot without heat as well
 
The engine oil pressure is excellent, the tractor charges and has a new battery fitted.

The lights all work as does the tachometer showing some 5700 hours
 
The clutch and brakes work well, it drives nicely up the road on a good set of tyres all round

The tinwork is nice and presentable having mellowed a little showing an older restoration
 
The serial plate is on the tractor but it has never been registered for the road, an easy task through an owners club 
 
Not many of these Nuffield's were made, a very nice little useable light tractor easy to store and get around with a good turn of speed on the road
