1961 Fordson Dexta

1961 Fordson Dexta Tractor

This little dexta has been with the previous custodian for many years on a small holding in the West Country
 
The tractor is a very late Dexta before they went to the Super Dexta
 
It has live drive which is all working correctly on both stages, the PTO works and the linkage goes up and down
 
The brakes are good and the steering is good and it drives nicely

The engine starts up after a little cranking from stone cold and runs very well, all fluids are in the correct places with no mixing, I have just fitted a new battery
 
The tyres all round are excellent
 
I have a V5 here for the tractor
 
The tinwork is all excellent, the nose cone looks to have been replaced some years ago and has mellowed in nicely, the whole tractor has a nice charm
 
The only fault I can find is there looks to be some sort of previous repair on the block right up behind the pump, this is barely visible and most would miss it, this doesn't effect the tractor at all but worth mentioning
