1958 Ferguson 35 
 
This little tractor has been on a small holding doing odd jobs for some years such as baling etc
 
The tractor is the 23c 4 cylinder diesel with a fully working dual clutch
 
The engine starts up well with heat even on the coldest day and runs well, it sounds strong although the engine breathes and ideally wants some hard work or a decoke
 
The fluids are all in the correct places with no mixing, there is no frost damage either
 
The tractor drives well in all gears, the brakes work well, steering is good and both stages of the clutch work as they should

The linkage and PTO both work as they should
 
The tractor has a new starter motor and battery fitted
 
The oil pressure sits a touch under half way on the gauge and doesn't really drop when hot idling
 
The rear tyres look like the original Good Years, and although down on tread are fine for years yet, the fronts have good tread
 
The serial plate is on the dash, the tractor has never been registered for the road but this is easily done
 
The tachometer isn't working sadly, the wing skins have a little grot and the bonnet has had a coat of paint at some point
 
The head has not been drilled for extra glow plugs, it is still running on the original flame thrower glow plug in the manifold which is working correctly
 
A great little tractor ready to work or paint and enjoy over the winter
