1957 International 650 Tractor
 
This lovely tractor came over from the US some years ago and has been in a private collection for the past few years
 
The tractor is a petrol start, diesel run.
 
You start the tractor on petrol, run it for 10 minutes or so then with a lever switch over to diesel, an excellent system which works well on this tractor without fault, it switches over well
 
The tractor runs with excellent oil pressure and gets up to temperature, the fuel pressure gauge on the pump shows a healthy fuel pressure too
 
The fluids are all in the correct places with no mixing
 
The serial plate is in place being 2001 making it the 1500th built
 
The tractor has twin rear wheel weights either side
 
The steering is nice and precise and its drives well up the road in all gears, the brakes also
work well
 
The tinwork is all original and lovely, I have a pair of battery cover lids here that go with the tractor
 
The front tyres are new and the rears look to be the original Firestones, although a bit age cracked they do not warrant attention for some years to come
 
I have no paperwork for the tractor but a full invoice will be issued
 
These have a 5 speed gearbox with top speed of about 18mph
 
There is no frost damage either
 
A really nice unusual tractor
 
The only two things to note are that the dynamo doesn't charge and the lights aren't wired in
