1952 Fordson E1A Major

This little tractor has just come in in part exchange
 
The tractor starts up on the button and runs well, all fluids are in the correct places with no mixing
 
The hydraulics, PTO and clutch all work as they should, the brakes also work
 
The steering is very good with no play in the box or the kingpins
 
The tinwork is original with its leaded front cowl and early type rear wings, they could do with some tidying up
 
The tractor looks to have originally been a petrol model with a diesel engine fitted later in its life as so many were
 
I have no paperwork for the tractor, there is a number on the front but this would need applying for
 
An excellent little project for the winter or use as is
