1942 Oliver 80

1942 Oliver 80 Winch Tractor

This tractor was used in Herefordshire by a threshing contractor before being parked in a barn and left
 
The tractor has recently had the head rebuilt with all the valves done, new plugs and leads, reconditioned Bosch magneto and a recent exhaust manifold
 
The result is an Oliver that starts within a couple of pulls and runs very well with a very sharp governor
 
It runs on both fuels very well, the oil pressure is 40 which is excellent and doesn't drop
 
The Hesford winch is a lovely addition which is fully working ( I have the anchor )
 
The tractor has the standard 4 speed box with top gear being about 6mph
 
I have no paperwork for this tractor
 
The serial plate shows KD meaning Kerosene Distillate, depicting an original TVO engine
 
The engine has excellent compression and is frost damage free
 
The tinwork is absolutely beautiful and original with plenty of green paint
 
A regrettable sale but I sadly need the room
