1941 Allis Chalmers Model U
 
This lovely Allis Chalmers U has been in a private collection for the past year after I sold it to them and has recently come back in
 
The tractor starts 2 or 3 clicks and runs beautifully with the sharp U bark
 
The tractor runs brilliantly on both fuels, I have driven this all around the farm and it is a delight to drive
 
The block is frost damage free, the manifold is good, the oil pressure is good and it is full of antifreeze with no mixing of fluids
 
Rather unusually it has a rear PTO unit and a belt pulley
 
The serial number is very visible on the back but there is no paperwork, it has not been registered.
 
A really nice Allis U ready to be enjoyed
 
The only fault I can pick is the rear tyres are cracked from lack of use, these are fine for now but will warrant replacing in the next few years I would guess, the fronts are excellent
